Earth, the Evening Star

We are so accustomed to think of Venus as the Evening Star (and Morning Star) here on Earth, that we forget that Earth is a planet to be espied from the relative close but remote comfort of Mars, courtesy of Curiosity, the rover for the Mars Science Laboratory Mission.

Earth is an inferior planet relative to the more distant Mars, so of course it is both an evening and morning star to our beloved Mars.
